Typical wire length for all (5) blades is (1) yard. A blade change will cost about .50 cents for future reference.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Install your stone on the &#8220;VICE\/DOP BLOCK&#8221; using dop wax, hot glue or vice pressure.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Using the &#8220;TENSION RELIEF KNOB&#8221; lower the bow until the diamond wires rest 2mm above the stone to be cut.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Adjust the water nozzle to hit in the center of the stone and the center of the blades.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Turn the &#8220;POWER ON\/OFF SWITCH&#8221; to the on position.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Adjust the &#8220;WATER SPEED CONTROLLER&#8221; to minimum water flow.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Turn the &#8220;BOW SPEED CONTROLLER&#8221; approximately a quarter of a turn clockwise to start the bow in a slow cutting motion while it is sitting above the stone.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Use the &#8220;TENSION RELIEF KNOB&#8221; to lower the bow onto the stone. The goal is to seat all the diamond wires into the stone.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Once all of the diamond wires have cut into the stone about 1mm to 2mm , you can turn the &#8220;TENSION RELIEF KNOB&#8221; counter clockwise about 10 turns to release the full tension.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Adjust the &#8220;BOW SPEED CONTROLLER&#8221; for the fastest speed in which the &#8220;LINEAR RAILS&#8221; do not bounce and remain stable. Bounce is usually caused by wire stretch or not enough tension on the wires.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Sitting on top of the &#8220;LINEAR RAILS&#8221; is the &#8220;SLIDING WEIGHT&#8221; &amp; using it can be a bit tricky until you get used to it. With stones under 1&#8243; in size you usually will not need to use the sliding weight therefore you can remove the sliding weight.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If you need the &#8220;SLIDING WEIGHT&#8221; simply slide the weight over the left end of the &#8220;LINEAR RAILS&#8221; where it fits in the slots on the &#8220;LINEAR RAILS&#8221;. Slide the weight all the way to the right side of the &#8220;LINEAR RAILS&#8221;.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Be sure to listen to the blade cutting sound as the sound will tell you whether to add more weight by sliding the weight to the left.
