Slab Master Diamond Wire Slab Saw Instructions

• Install the diamond wire on the wire guides located on the bow. Typical wire length for all (5) blades is (1) yard. A blade change will cost about .50 cents for future reference. 
• Install your stone on the “VICE/DOP BLOCK” using dop wax, hot glue or vice pressure.
• Using the “TENSION RELIEF KNOB” lower the bow until the diamond wires rest 2mm above the stone to be cut.
• Adjust the water nozzle to hit in the center of the stone and the center of the blades.
• Turn the “POWER ON/OFF SWITCH” to the on position.
• Adjust the “WATER SPEED CONTROLLER” to minimum water flow.
• Turn the “BOW SPEED CONTROLLER” approximately a quarter of a turn clockwise to start the bow in a slow cutting motion while it is sitting above the stone.
• Use the “TENSION RELIEF KNOB” to lower the bow onto the stone. The goal is to seat all the diamond wires into the stone.
• Once all of the diamond wires have cut into the stone about 1mm to 2mm , you can turn the “TENSION RELIEF KNOB” counter clockwise about 10 turns to release the full tension.
• Adjust the “BOW SPEED CONTROLLER” for the fastest speed in which the “LINEAR RAILS” do not bounce and remain stable. Bounce is usually caused by wire stretch or not enough tension on the wires. 
• Sitting on top of the “LINEAR RAILS” is the “SLIDING WEIGHT” & using it can be a bit tricky until you get used to it. With stones under 1″ in size you usually will not need to use the sliding weight therefore you can remove the sliding weight.
• If you need the “SLIDING WEIGHT” simply slide the weight over the left end of the “LINEAR RAILS” where it fits in the slots on the “LINEAR RAILS”. Slide the weight all the way to the right side of the “LINEAR RAILS”.
• Be sure to listen to the blade cutting sound as the sound will tell you whether to add more weight by sliding the weight to the left. If you need less weight then slide the weight to the right.
